Official - Rampage To The UFC!
According to Tito ORtiz.Com (HBBB section), Dana White was quoted as saying during the press conference by Zuffa in its acquisition of the WFA that one of the contracts acquired by the UFC was the full contract plus incentives for Quentin Rampage Jackson. White has not set a date as to when UFC fans can expect Quentin Jackson to make his debut in the Octagon.
This isn't a big shock to me, but just love that it's official. Either way you cut it, Jackson is going to have a shot at Chuck/Tito, or both.
Also, it must suck to be TUF LHW winners with all those experienced higher end MMA veterans now flooding the UFC LHW division. Bisping and Forrest are tough, but now he's going to have to consider the fact you got arguably 3 of the worlds top 10 LHW's now in the UFC. And Forrest has to wonder about his chances as well vs. a guy like Jackson.
OMG, this has got to be the greatest early Christmas gift for MMA fans and UFC fans. One organization acquiring smaller ones with buttloads of talent now under one roof in the same cage!
LETS GET IT ON!!!

YEAAAAAAAAAAA UUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Merry Christmas felllas. They'll have to drop him off at the front door though -- I don't think RAMPAGE would fit down the proverbial UFC chimney.

Man, this is awesome news!! The UFC keeps getting better and better! The LHW division is so much better now with Rampage. I wonder who he'll face first, and when it'll be. UFC should be amazing in 2007.

IF this is true then its really great news. i think the MMA world has been expecting this signing for a while now so its not so much as suprise as i'd just like lets say 'better' official word on it. like Dana himself. or better then that an actual match with Rampage on it before i get to excited. cuz Dana's word isnt rock soild.

The fight between Jackson and Liddell was three years ago. I bet the outcome will be different this time around. Still, it is good news to see that Jackson will be in the UFC, despite the fact that Jackson has not been in love with the UFC.

Great news indeed. Looks like this is the start of a snow ball run. Watched the first epsiode of inside ufc and dana said 2007 is gonna be big. Looks like alot more new signings (big names). BTW Tito ^ rampage i dont think will ever get it on unless of course tito is the holder of the belt, and even at that i dunno. Rampage go back to the very begining, started together and have been close ever since, not like the relationship between tito and chuck. Oh i see Bas fought during the summer too, wonder will he get it on in the ufc, noew that would be ground breaking. If you ask me alot of older guys will return to the octagon, now its actual payback so to speak going on the explosion of mma and the demise of boxing and deservably so too. Those guys earned it.

I think Rampage would push Chuck. It'd be a good fight period.
As far as if Bas somehow is going to get into the picture? I wouldnt mind seeing him as a coach in TUF house. Honestly, he's done a lot of things in movies and TV, I think it'd be great.
And fight of course too.
