Tonights Inside The UFC WITH BIG BIG NEWS!
Some of you know i entered the UFC fight club to get presale tickets for UFC 66.
I just got an Email from UFC stating that as of 1pm PST today the UFC inserted a "BIG Announcement regarding new UFC fighters" which will be aired tonight on Inside the UFC.
It's two paragraphs long and sounds exciting. It simply says a "Big announcement' to air tonight on Inside the UFC.
Can we all say
CRO COP
but the Email said FIGHTERS.
So can we say......
FEDOR
and who knows God else.
Please tune in everyone! Should be interesting!

They talked about TUF 5 news as well but under the thing for it "Additional News regarding fighters jsut added" was on it.
I hope it's not some ploy to get us all to tune in, as if we werent going to already.
Like I said, I'm not anti-Pride, but I love the idea of grabbing at least a couple of their big names because they are the best in the business and i want to see the best fights with the best fighters.
To me seeing Cro Cop or Fedor in the UFC and others go head to head with the UFC's best (or worst depending how you look at it) I feel like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory winning the last Golden Ticket.
This last two months in MMA has been INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE for fans.
I love it!

my guess is announcing about rampage...
when the UFC has big cable news like that its usually stuff we already know... fedor def cant be announced because hes fighting for pride in a week... crocop maybe but i wouldnt get my hopes up.... my guess is that BJ is the 2nd coach (we know) and that rampage is fighting hogar

Considering that the last "big announcement" was just the formal announcement of Georges vs. Hughes II, I think you are right. Probably just going to acquaint the fans who don't know him to break them in I guess.

The new fighters will undoubtedly be the contracts purchased in the buyout of the WFA. Rampage, Machida, maybe even Herring, Miller, and or Faber.
CroCop's manager has denied any deal is in place with any organization, so its highly unlikely that will be anything like that.

I dont expect anything more groundbreaking than announcing who they kept in the UFC from the other orgs they bought out. Possibly a CroCop announcement but I doubt it.

It will most likely just be about the fighters coming from WFA.
If Cro Cop does happen to choses to fight in the UFC I think it would be announced at the PPV if anything.
Then again tonight there is a good chance they will announce that UFC bought out Pride, IFL, KOTC and fight forum.

So much for the Huge Annoucement...we have speculated about this happening for a couple of weeks now. I think that when say they have huge announcements, its for the people who watch occasionally and not so much for people like us, who are on the MMA boards looking for the most up to date info.
