Absolutely. There was an HBO movie "Don King - Only In America" which I think summed it up well. Ving Rhames plays King and when talking about Tyson in the movie said it best:
"I struggled to make ends meet financially until......TYSON. This kid had every proportionality of a fighter you need. Fear, Power, Speed, and just raw aggression. I was making money and so was he. That is until Robin and her mother "Lady McBitch" as I call her came and messed things up with Iron Mike. They made that boy so crazy he started beatin her up, the cops up and later bit Evander's Ear off!"
I think Robin messed Tyson up. I think he really loved her and she took advantage of him and smeared his public image so much he just gave up. It's sad too because he couldve ended his career much better than he did. Still one of my favorite boxers of all time.
"Boxing is all fun and games until someone punches you in the mouth!" - Mike Tyson 1991 (After is upset defeat to the hands of Buster Douglas)
