I think this is great for Diaz. I hope he does well. He could possibly face Gomi in a non title fight at their next Vega show. Diaz is cutting to lightweight to fight. It says its a two fight deal but if he does well, he should stay around a bit longer I would think.

Sorry for the repetative post. I didnt see this posted in the PRIDE section where I guess I assumed, in error, that it would have been posted. I guess Ill check the UFC section next time for things concerning Pride.

Nick is tough and has the skills to be an exciting fighter in Pride.

He'll do well in a more technical organization such as Pride.

PRIDE's lightweight-class is a lot more suitable to him (than UFC's WW or LW). It'll be interesting to see him in action against those guys. And if he'll continue with his antics.

Im very interested in seein him fight Gomi. i think they will stand and bang. I dont know if Nick can hang with Gomi but im not counting him out.
