what about the other matches happening that night are there gonna be bets on those too
yes....once they are all officially announced there will be bets on them. I can't put the bets up until Pride says that the matches are actually happening.
i put 500 on Fedor, after seeing him survive that slam by Randleman i don't see anyone stopping him for a long long time. that slam would've killed everyone else.
FINALLY made up my mind on who to bet for. This was a tough call because I think it is going to be one of the closest matches in recent time and I have nothing but respect for both fighters. As much as I wanted to go for Cro Cop, something in the back of my head said Fedor so 850 on him to win
1000 on Fedor and 1000 on Mirko, if Mirko wins, I get my 1000 back plus 1250, which will make up for the 1000 I lost on Fedor. I Fedor wins, heck, I only lost 200 points, and finally know who the toughest HW in the world is. But I think I am going to lose 200 on this fight...*hint*.

So if you look at it as a whole. You're betting 2000 points. The best case scenario is if Mriko wins, you get 1000 back and 1250 for the win. So you would be up 250 points.
If Fedor wins, you get that 1000 back plus 800 for the win. So you would be down 200 points in this scenario.
In conclusion, you're betting 2000 points and the best you can do is win 250 while the worst you could do is lose 200. You may as well have just bet 200 points on Mirko and made it easier for yourself. You would lose the 200 if Fedor won, like your bet, but you would win 250 plus your 200 bet back if Mirko won. It's too late now, but I just figured I would point it out. Odds for fights are set up so that the bookie always wins.

No itīs not too late, because I havenīt placed the bet yet. lol. Anyway, I canīt live with the fact, just betting on Mirko. If I do it the way I said.. I would bet on both, because I donīt just want to bet on one.
Strange case, but hey it will work for me. Also, I know that the odds are always set up that the bookie wins, I am not trying to make points of this fight. Itīs more of a symbolic betting.
