Or maybe not
I think TUF is a great idea! Gives us UFC fans something to watch on a week to week basis, not too mention the new young talent that comes in....

I hate to admit it but I think Sanchez is VERY good compared to the others you mentioned.
Bisping, even though he won, didn't impress me at all in his last fight

If Schafer knew how to GnP, Bisping would not have looked so good. The UFC knows what they are doing ( most of the time ) when they are building up the TUF boys

I like it, I just wish they didn't coddle guys or let them dodge championship fights until their TUF contracts are up.
I do like the show though, and the LW's will be sweet I think.

I personally think that TUF is exciting, promotes awareness of the sport, and develops up-and-coming talent. It is a little too early to criticize whether or not they've had a champion yet. Most of them are still being developed. I could be wrong on this, but isn't Lutter the only one who has even fought for a chance at the title? And he's more of a veteran to boot, not truly "up and coming" talent.
I also think that TUFers don't have to become champions to become worthwhile to the UFC. The most important thing is that they put on competitive, exciting fights. I don't see Forrest Griffin holding a belt anytime soon, but win or lose, I love to watch him fight.

I think TUF is a good thing, in case u haven't noticed, almost half the ufc roster is from one of the TUF series.

I try to catch the last 15 minutes of the episodes to watch the fights. I don't like most of the rest of the show. Too much like the Real World or some other crap. I wish they focused more on the training and fighting.

The first seasons were definately worth it . The UFC gained so many new fans from it.
It's losing alot of it's luster now IMO, but I'll still watch.

Financially it is, and $$ is all that counts.
$$$ talks.
And TUF makes a lot of it!

Buisness 101 lol . You right, the UFC is a money machine right now.
Only fighters that stand out to me from TUF are Rashad Evans, Diego Sanchez and I have to admit...Mike Swick those three are on their way to a title shot IMO .
