Karo Parisyan
Why isn't anybody talking about the Parisyan fight. I would think that he should be one of the next in line for a shot at the Welterwieght championship. I'm not trying to take anything away from Nick Diaz, but close fight or not Parizyan won the fight. How about this: Parisyan vs. ST-Pierre. How about that for a fight? Then the winner takes on Matt Huges for the tittle.

Karo fought GSP at UFC 46 and lost a Unanimous decision. Plus, GSP is fighting Trigg at UF 54. I agree that Karo is in line for a title shot, but I hope he gets it soon. Because if GSP beats Trigg at UFC 54, then he would right in line also.

Hey, the Welterweight divison is stacked with talent. I'd be safe putting any combo of fighters together. To add to that Parisyan isn't the same fighter he was in 46, and of course the same can be said for St-Pierre. My belief is that with the win Parisyan had over Diaz, he sould be a bit closer to a shot. St-Pierre had a shot with Huges, Parisyan should be next in line. Not to say that St-Pierre dosn't deserve a shot in the near future.

I agree, right now the way things stand I think Karo should get the title shot. But with Hughes off taping the TUF 2 it would be tough to put a fight together. And if GSP beats Trigg at UFC 54, that would be 3 quality wins since his loss to Hughes and he would be close to another title shot also.

Right now, this is the best competition we have, compared to light heavyweight. I hope it ensues^^

Totally agree. Man, I like Parisyan a lot in his next fight. And Nick Diaz? For a skinny dude he sho nuff is doing some serious damage. I don't really like that he talks smack. But I guess it's just a tactic. But It would be funny if when he had his hands down, he got totally rocked and lost the fight. I hoped that would happen in his fight against Lawler, but unfortunately it didn't.

ya parizyan won the fight but it was still to close . if anything they should fight again because they both have had good runs since they got at it and then the winner fights hughs . but fight till there is a true winner by ko or tap out.

That sounds like a good plan to me. They should have a no time limit fight to the death. That I would love to see.
