1st Time At UFC Event - Need Tips
Hello everyone,
My buddies and I will be going to our first UFC event and was wondering if all of you that have gone or consistly go could supply some experienced information. We are going to UFC 69 in Houston this April. I was wondering about any tips you may have or info about the best times/areas to meet and get autos from fighters. Also just basic information to make it an even better experience for us. Also we are curious about what souvineers are sold and what type of pricing that we could expect. Any information will be very much appreciated.
Thank you all very much,
Jason

Get there as early as you can cause the merchandise lines get nuts and if you're not there early, the good stuff gets sold out quick.
UFC events are insane! My first one was Tito/Matushenko in 2000 and the last one, my 9th event i attended was UFC 66. I've never had a bad time at an event.
Its fan friendly, most of the time, you make friends in the audience with the "cool" MMA fans. There are some morons, but either they pass out, or they start **** and the cops eject them fast.
You'll probably bump in to fighters and I've never had one be a prick to me or my wife. The only A-hole was Rogan. But the fighters are way cool to the fans.
Have fun and enjoy! You'll get more hooked than you are now!

1. Go to the weigh in, its awesome and you get to meet a ton of fighters.
2. Go to the after party following the event, its full of celebs and hot chicks. Make sure to wear nice clothes though or they will not let you in, oh and no hats are allowed either.

Yeah, make the weighin if you can, much easier to meet the fighters than after an event or an afterparty.

Don't forget to Boo everytime tim sylvia is on-screen or mentioned, and boo everytime fighters clinch or go to the ground.
Edit: Ooops! I meant that is what you should NOT be doing.

if you have to urinate, and you find yourself standing in front of the urinal and there is a big white thing in it, DONT EAT IT. IT ISNT A MINT!! DONE EAT THE BIG WHITE MINT!!!
to be serious, i have never gone, but i would make myself available to everything. weigh-ins, early to the venue and see who is walking around.
either way, enjoy yourself, and dont forget to let us all know how it went.

It's an awesome experience being at a UFC event, make the weigh ins the day before if you can, and I went to UFC 53 in Atlantic City and got there early morning(to do a little gambling!) I walk onto the boardwalk and I look and it's Herb Dean walking right next to me with what appared to be his father. Then I leave the casino to get a bite to eat and as I'm sitting at a table Chris Leben comes walking down the boardwalk and passes right by me! I can't wait till the next UFC comes this way, it's a great experience and I hope you have as good a time as I did!

Like many posts mentioned above, go there early. Take a camera with you ready in your hand. If you walk around the lower level of the arena. It's very likely you run into celeb. and you can take a few pictures with them if you are lucky. I see some fighters who are not fighting at that event walking around the octagon and talk to fans: GSP, Rampage, Chuck.

Is there other big name fighters that you can also meet at the weigh ins or just the ones that are fighting in that event??

Im actually also soon be going to my first event, UFC 70 since its held in the UK i can actually go. Live in Sweden were they have banned all pro MMA.
So its gonna be cool. Been following the UFC since UFC 2 so its about time.
I just wondering if anyone know when the release the tickets and what kind of seats you should get? ($50, $100, $200 or $400)
