What do you guys think of this technique?

A lot of its bad rep I think comes from Shonie Carter...as much as he's become famous for it, I would say he's one of the worst at actually performing it. It must be embarassing for him to see how easily Joe Roagan saw his telegraphing.

That's seems to be the biggest problem with the spinning backfist other than making you dizzy, which some people seem to suffer from. There's no telegraphing if you work it into a combo and it's much more effective.

This move is mocked by some, but it's very lethal. In fact, I think it's against the rules in most kickboxing/Muay Thai competitions.

Do any of you guys practice this move and would you use it in a fight/MMA match?
