My Dad, my brothers and I would all watch the fights together and debate who was going to win and why and just talk about the fights for hours before the fights. Honestly, the part I enjoyed the most was the pre-fight. The thing was, once all of the guys that we really knew were retired it made it so to me atleast, all their was was the fight itself.

I am still a sucker for a big name fight but now I really dont know too many fighters. I will definitely be getting Mayweather vs De La Hoya.

I love this post. I am definitely a big fan of the 79/90 era of pro boxing... Also , to comment on the original, yes MMA and boxing are not real life fighting scenarios. Nice old post btw.
