Default Diego Corrales Dead - KCRA Sacramento Report

Died in a motorcyle accident tonight in Las Vegas.

29 years old, raised in Sacramento CA, and held JR lightweight and Lightweight belts, and was regarded as one of the best up an comers in boxing.

40-5 was his record

Las Vegas PD showed his motorcyle was traveling behind a Honda in a north bound lane and didnt reduce speed while traveling in a NW direction and struck a southbound Mercedes, killing Mr. Corrales. There is no explanation why, according to Vegas PD why Mr Corrales did not decrease speed on his motorcycle.

RIP Mr. Corrales

Terrible news...Diego was one of the few guys that kept me watching boxing. His fights with Cassamayor and Castillo are some of my favorites.
A very big loss for boxing and its fans.

Wow, that makes him the #2 famous celebrity to die recently. They seem to come in threes. First, Jeremy Williams, next Corrales. Who next?

RIP Diego Corrales...
