I love these threads, when people all of the sudden try to make excuses for fighters. In a way, it´s justified, because we have all seen GSP in MUCH better shape and giving a MUCH better performance. However, Serra beat GSP about as fair and square. Nobody can take that away from Matt. I hear things like GSP over Serra 9 out of 10 times. Well, we can´t know until we actually see, can we?

Both are great fighters. Matt was probably just mad, because he didn´t feel like he recieved the respect that he deserved for that win, and GSP is making excuses like many have done before him, and will do afterwards, but honestly those comments weren´t THHAATT bad. Things can be blown out of proportion, specially since some dude wrote an article and didn´t even bother telling us exactly WHAT he told Matt about GSP´s comments. He might have manipulated the sitation as bit, to get an emotional response.

So let´s see a rematch.
