I was always a GSP fan and never really thought much of Matt Serra. But I 100% agree with what Matt says. GSP has been exposed as a "Mental Midget" just as Serra said. I always judged GSP on how gracious he seemed after his matches. But it's obvious he really did say that in the interview and if it's true he's as much of a punk as Hughes. He preached all along that he was going to train for Matt Serra just like he would've for Matt Hughes. But now he comes out and says this crap. I'd expect that from Tim Sylvia but I'm surprised to hear it from GSP.
One thing for certain, I've gained a 1000% more respect for Matt Serra after hearing him stand up to the bully Matt Hughes and now call GSP out for what he said. I'm still not convinced that Serra is the best WW in the UFC, but the guy has some serious heart and I give him props for that.
