I have never been any fighter's fan, but like lots of fighters (Rich Franklin, Matt Hughes, Diego Sanchez, GSP, Chuck Liddell, Frank/Ken Shamrock, Randy Couture, Joe Louzon, Nick Diaz, Karo Pyrisian, Evan Tanner, Spencer Fisher, and Royce Gracie - I really respect Royce's warrior's spirit, if you ever watched his first few UFC's fights when he was younger, look into his eyes, that's a warrior, a true martial aritst), either by their talents, commitments, personalities, or fighting styles. Karo is one of the fighters that I like. I just think that it's too bad, that Karo, as great a judo expert that he is, not wanting, or from what I've seen, not drilling on the stand up aspect of the fight game. Personally, I think that stand up fighting techniques are easy to learn and adapt, the hard techniques are the ground fightings. If Karo would be willing to learn basic taekwondo punching / kicking techniques, which is so easy to pick up, from the right person, there's no limit to how far he will go, probably end up division's top dog one day, if not champion.
