Default Wow, K-1 Dynamite fighter purses...

Some of these blow my mind.
K-1 (and Elite XC) is the Santa of the MMA world.

Some picks:
Lesnar made 500 K - Christ on a bike, really?
Royce 300 K
Saku only 30 K - and no win bonuses in that fight.
Johnnie Morton 100 K - who? how much?
Gesias "JZ" Calvancanti 45 K

Seriously, if they have money like this to give away to MMA-nobodies (not talking about Saku and Royce there), they could easily take PRIDE's place as UFC's rival in the future.
UFC needs to let the cash flow as well. The stars go where they get paid the most. If UFC just abandons PRIDE (it looks like it) instead of taking advantage of the huge market in Japan, they could be in trouble imo.

And BCguy, don't even start... you know 500 K to Brock Lesnar is ridiculous.
Now I really hope someone knocks him unconscious.

I'm glad to see k-1 is actually paying their fighters.

You know the crazy thing? Compared to Japan, this pay is LOW for k-1, altho its hard to independantly verify the Japanese pay, as there is no commission to answer to. As strong as K-1 is in Japan, they do have a habit of throwing money around from time to time. I think most, if not all fighters deserve this kind of money, but to throw 100k down on a first time rookie is a little excessive.

Yeah, that blew my mind as well. I guess they knew who their main draw was.

Brock Lesner spent two minutes of his life, took no punches, and won 5 years salary of well payed normal working man.

Johnnie Morton made $2,631.57 per second of work!

Maybe he should go back to football, he was a good Wide Receiver.

Well two orgs getting together like that is probably the main reason for the higher money MORTONs is just crazy though !

As for the money fighters make in the UFC for the 10,000th time you guys don't know what they make you only get a small part of what they make they don't tell you every little deal they have in the contract so you have no clue what they make off the PPV sales if anything, Plus they all have sponsors.

My goodness people worry about how much you make before you all start worrying about what this guy makes or that guy.......If they was all getting paid so bad they wouldn't be fighting most of the guys are smart enough to go do something else or just go play some other sport.
