I really liked Frank Shamrock when he was in the UFC.

He wasn't afraid to go after someone, unlike most of today's fighters who are so afraid of making a mistake!!!

LOL, thatīs funny.. Carlos Gracie died in 1994, at age 92. So when did your instructor do this? in the 90īs? wow, he called out a 90 year old man. Did he do it in the 80`s?? wow he called out a 80 year old man.. Did he do it in the 70īs? Wow he called out a 70 year old man.

And why didnīt he call out Rickson, Rorion or Royler? Royce maybe? Or why didnīt he call out Helio? he is only 88..lol

Please.. keep the fairy tales off the board.

Frank Shamrock. No other "old school" favourites really. Well, maybe Rizzo and Vitor(if you count them as OS). And I always enjoy watching Tank get beaten.

Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Royce Gracie and Kimo in the very early days. after that you get to MArk Coleman, Maurice Smith, Marco Ruas and Don Frye. Vitor and Tank after that. i don't think fighters these days have as good personas as in the older generation of fighters.
