i did'nt say that they were'nt effective. Bodybuilding has proven to be the quickest way to gain lean mass, guys have been doing it for decades now and i am not one to argue with bodybuilding for the purpose of hypertrophy. what i will argue against is guys using these techniques without first training using more basic principles. we live in a world were people are fascinated by the newest and most advanced techniques, wanting to use them before they build a strong base. whats that saying? you have to learn to walk before you can run. well, there are alot of guys out there trying to run who have'nt learned to walk yet.
