Nayr01: When THQ and the UFC announced the project, they said every platform including PC and portable. So I imagine that includes PSP, and possibly the DS?

danny81: Do you play video games? You don't need a separate button for every type of strike. One button can be many different punches on its own -- one kind just by pressing it. Four different kinds by pressing it in combination with a thumbstick direction. And then there's the combo of the button plus the trigger on the 360 controller or the shoulder button on the PS3.

Or if you look at the Total Punch Control system in the Fight Night series, they do a lot of variety just with movement of the thumbsticks.

Besides, for the game to be fun, challenging and addictive, you don't need total and 100% realism. You don't need every single possible element of fighting included. As long as the game is fun and challenging, you could probably just adapt the current engine THQ uses for their pro wrestling games.
