Default he "looks big vs looks small"

i never understood this.... like in the tito rashad fight, both weighed in about the same, but tito "looked so much bigger" which he did....

it kinda happend to me lately too as i got full into boxing again... ive cut alot of fat which is natural, but everyone including myself says i "look alot smaller" but i weight close to the same, maybe 2 pounds less....
so what accounts for all this??
any clues or insite?

Yep. And in the case of two guys in the same weight class with one looking bigger, it's also just about frame and bone structure. Consider that Corey Hill and Manny Gamburian are both 55'ers, yet Hill towers over Manny and can reach him from across the octagon.

Could be hydration, especially in UFC fights were they tend to always cut weight, guys with a sharp eye can tell the difference of a man if hes outside his normal cut weight by 10lb give or take, perhaps that is what your refering too?

Yeah, I'd say that's it. Like Rich knows he's gotta weigh in at 185, and depending on his training and diet leading up to the fight, he might be walking around anywhere from 10-20 lbs heavier than that -- some of which is muscle, some is a bit of fat, some water, etc. If he comes in at 205, cuts to 185 for the weigh-ins, and then rehydrates and eats so he's 205 again for the fight, he'll look bigger than if he's walking around at only 195. People have definitely commented when I'm down five pounds that I look a lot leaner.
