Default My Unknown Injury

Hi guys i wonder if you can help, as you know im not a fan of going to the doctors i have had several fractured bones and never went to get them healed. Iv had this same problem for years now and it troubles me.

I have a lump coming out of the bottom right of my knee i.e an inch off the bottom left of my knee and about an inch from the shin bone. When i kick or run the thing hurts, i cant even press it back in as its sore to touch.

Anyone got any idea what it is? its a pretty abnormal lump, feels like bone

impossible to say im sorry... could be countless things, but if it hurts theres no reason not go stop in at a doc and have him just tell you so it can get better

Nim: I have one too, but I think it's always been there and mine doesn't hurt. I have the most messed up, knobby bone structure of anyone I know, though. Everything kind of sticks out. If I wasn't also carrying all this muscle, I'd probably look awful.

Dude... just go to the doctor. Painful lumps sticking out of your knee can't mean anything good. Would you rather be uncomfortable and nervous at the doctor's or unable to walk in a year because you let some easily fixed problem lead to a debilitating injury?

I've got pretty much the same thing on my right knee, but there's no pain in mine and as far as I can remember, it's always been there. If it's something new (as in hasn't always been there) and it's painful, you should definitely have it looked at before it gets worse.

Okay, see? Interesting. Because I totally have it too. There's a little knob of bone that protrudes on the instep of my right knee, and not on the left.

I think yours probably hurts from muay thai, Nim. You've been bashing it for long enough that it's irritated.

I have two of those nobby things in my shin from the bazillion sports I've played in my life. It doesent hurt and my doctor looked at it and it's no big deal, it doesent get bigger etc. He doesent even know what it is, but he said it might be a vein simply portruding slightly.
