Many fighters have done it, but usually not to that extent. He grabbed the fence at least 4 times. He grabbed Rashad's shorts at least twice. And he gave him a nice knee to the groin. Even if he is not doing these things intentionally(to which he said "If you're not cheating, you're not trying"), that needs to be at least a 1 point deduction or the rules become meaningless.

I disagree that Tito outwrestled Rashad. Tito got some takedowns and controlled a good portion of the clinch, but most of that was with his power and size advantage. If Rashad wasn't as good as he is, Tito would have taken him down at will. He stuffed some takedowns and held his own in the clinch where he is significantly smaller. And would have gotten numerous takedowns himself if Tito did not repeatedly cheat. When Tito did get takedowns it would take him 30 seconds to actually get Rashad all the way to his back, if he did at all. Tito did practically no damage once on top. And Rashad got out from under Tito on his own, he did not need standups. That is all because he nuetralized a bigger, stronger opponent with superior wrestling.

I know I respect what they do for a living and I'm willing to spend my hard earned money to watch them do it.

Calling us "dumb@$$ fans" because we have on opinion after spending our money so they can do what they love and then threatening us over the internet "F-That how about you get in the cage and we'll see what's up" is hardly the bases for a good discussion.

The great thing about what we do is that we're fans and not fighters. We (some of us) don't want to be in their shoes. We get to play Monday morning quarter back, we get to talk ****, we get to say they suck. That's the great thing about it. Without us (the fans) there wouldn't be any UFC and there wouldn't be any quarter of a million dollar pay days for Tito "the LnP queen" Ortiz.
Just b/c you pay money doesn't mean you know what you're talking about. Even if you don't you can still play Monday morning QB. It just means that you know nothing about the sport except of what you see on TV. I don't call fans dumb@$$ because they have opinions, I call them dumb@$$ b/c they rip into fighters with ignorent statements. Calling tito the LNP "Queen"- what is that like 5th grade? Come on man, get some respect.

By the way- I wasn't threatening anyone over the computer. I meant it as get in the cage (not w/ me) and you'll be a little more enlightened on the subject of MMA.

i see what your saying, i guess it just seemed to me that tito was the only one who came to fight and i think it was shown that rashad had no answer for tito except wait for him to get gassed

I love when Rashad goes "All You did was pick me up and hold me down"

Memo to Rashad. Last I checked....

THATS THE POINT OF WRESTLING!

Rashad will come out fighting in the first round this time and beat Tito on the decision because he wont be scared to fight a big name.

EDIT: Styles dont win fights, game plans and training do. Like Gonzaga owning Crocop on the ground and set him up for the head kick, Serra standing with GSP. Styles fights into some game plans but its normally the plans that win the fight or a lucky shot.
Excellent thread.

This "War of Words" BS is nothing more then Tito controlling Rashad and putting him where he wants him, which is back in the Octagon for another pay check. Tito Knows he can beat Rashad so why not fight him again and get a easy win and more money.
Yeah Like he did Griffin??? You "huge Tito fans" are diluted.. Tito is so washed up its not even funny.. This is well into the begining of the end for Jacob as I feel he has lost the ability to back up his mouth..

that doesn't change the fact that rashad had no answer for his fight game.

You're right about one thing though, if you can't win a fight when your opponent gets a point taken away then you don't deserve to win. Rashad in no way deserved a win. You know when else you don't deserve to win? When you cheat repeatedly.

I will bet any amount of money that Shogun can and will beat Tito if they fight. You talk about style matchups yet you don't think Shogun's style would dominate Tito's? The ONLY chance i give Tito is that Shogun might not be used to elbows in the cage. But considering his camp and skill set, i doubt it.

Rashad is a great wrestler, Salmon is a better wrestler. In terms of pure wrestling Salmon > Rashad > Tito. Tito was getting takedowns with size and power, not superior wrestling. Salmon did not finish any shots from his knees. He got two takedowns. One was an arm drag(one of the best takedowns i've ever seen in MMA), the other was from a caught mid-kick. If you're going to lecture you need to have your facts straight.

P.S. Hughes fought Pele who has the same exact style as A. Silva. Hughes got KTFO shooting in for a takedown in the first round It's not as simple as not having takedown defense.
WOOOOOO,you tell him get your facts straight.
