Not much else I can say except get us some more USA PPVs

I wish FEG would have been the ones who bought PRIDE instead of Zuffa in the first place, at least this is a little justice.

when it was heavily rumored that ufc just bought pride like the day or two before they it was anounced... FEG said they had a big surprise for Zuffa and i was hoping with every bone in my body that FEG would have bought PrideFC out from under the UFC... now i dont even remember what they did because i was so bummed Zuffa took over.

Great, now the only way we may end up seeing Gomi is by searching and downloading.

Don't kid yourselves, K-1 will likely not be having much more to do with the US anytime soon. And their lack of PPV exposure over here will not help either.

You beat me to it, George.

I'm glad there's another organization that is signing free agents.

I know its easy enough to find it, but I'm talking about more worldwide recognition for a brilliant fighter. Would it be better if many across the globe remember Gomi for this...

Right now with UFC having no television deal in Japan whatsoever, it makes more sense for Gomi to fight for his home crowd in an org that will broadcast to his home nation.

I take it Gomi was not under a PRIDE contract since they could probably block his fighting anywhere else.

Probably good for Gomi I don't think its great for MMA like I've said before if all top guys are split up in other orgs then we don't get the great fights, Unless FEG and Zuffa make nice and let their guys go back and forth without pulling any of that crap DSE pulled by oking a fight then backing out.

DSE didnt back out Dana White is a jerk... He anounced the fight then tried to renagotiate the money DSE said to have Wanderlei.

And since you're an "insider", this is the absolute truth?

Face it, no one truly knows (outside the parties themselves) who is to blame for the failed relationships between DSE and Zuffa. DW can be a moron, but lets not make like DSE was the most trustworthy of organizations, especially with all the issues affecting it the last year. This is the same org that promised us Mike Tyson among other things not too long after the Silva-Liddell escapade.

So nobody wants to see Gomi fight the lightweights in the UFC?

I would have preferred that but that's just me, I guess.

I am kinda mad about Gomi not being in the UFC. I was hoping to see Gomi Diaz 2 (still could happen), but most of all I wanted to see Gomi vs Penn 2.

Nick isn't in the UFC at the moment.....He is in EXC.

Nate is in the UFC.

I know.. that's why on the diaz gomi I put it could still happen, but it is obvious that the UFC is interested in him since they put his profile back on UFC.com

Dana was a jerk, but Sakikibara was a master of double-speak. Neither side was 100% to blame.

^ very true.....I like what Rogan said on sherdog a while back about how they are.

We Sell......We No Sell......We Sell.....We No Sell

And Dana messed up a bit by bringing it public before it was set in stone, I think thats half the reason Zuffa is so hardline now is that they got burned by DSE.

However FEG is much better then DSE and it would be very nice if they could work with Zuffa and be able to bring fighters over to the US once in a while, Now that would be great for the sport

It would be sweet if the top Kickboxing org in the world was tight with the top MMA org think of what that could bring to MMA
