UFC 75 Possibly Airing On HBO Or Spike TV?
looks you in the states may get another possible free bee
MMANEWS.COM | UFC 75 Possibly Airing On HBO Or Spike TV?
According to an article on 411Mania.com, there is a possibility that UFC 75 "Champion vs. Champion" (Rampage Jackson vs. Dan Henderson, UFC title vs. PRIDE title) will be airing on HBO or Spike TV, as opposed to pay-per view.
The report claims that PPV is still an option, obviously, but that despite the rocky relationship - HBO is a possibility as well. Spike TV would obviously also be another option, if the UFC were to go the free-TV route.
We'll keep you covered on this one if anything develops, even if it turns out to be just another one of the many HBO-UFC rumors that fall short.

I would much rather HBO than Spike...I HATE commercials and I like listening to what the corner men have to say...and of course enjoy the replays they show of the previous round...

I would rather it be a PPV so Zuffa can make more money to pay their fighters...
Plus stuff on Spike sucks, and I don't have HBO.
and really, it doesn't make sense to have this be free when not even 72 was free, and that one sucked in terms of how hyped the card was

i wish they would just hurry and decide if they are going to get this deal with HBO done. i think that if they are going to put it on 'free' tv (you stil have to pay for hbo and if you live where i live it might as well just be ppv) they should put it on spike. i hate the commercials too, but let face it spike had a huge role in making the ufc as big as they are right now, they should show them the love.

I prefer HBO over Spike too for sure..
As some of you said, Spike had a lot commercials in between rounds (some are really bad, like GGW).. We saw that in UFC70 and all the UFNs..
HBO is the best choice.. its name alone is gonna be good for the sport.. It's just like when UFC got in the cover of ESPN os SI..
Beside.. I ALREADY HAVE IT!!

I think HBO would be better than Spike. I hated watching 70 on Spike with all the commercials. Plus, like some of the other posters above me, I have HBO in HD.

A title fight and Cro Cop, I doubt this will be on free TV. If it is, I dont care... I am going!
I too hate commercials, I think Bravo in the UK is similar to Spike in the US. HBO sounds much better.

Hmmm... I'd rather not have to buy a subscription to HBO, but UFC on HBO is the one thing that would get me to throw money towards HBO, so eh.

Yeah, UFC70 on Spike was so full of ads I actually downloaded the UK PPV. *MUCH* better. Sadly, I see this one going to Spike as the only guy at HBO who was for MMA got caught choking his girlfriend in a parking lot and is no longer with the company.

I would also be happy if they struck a deal with HBO but I can understand the people that don't have HBO feeling left out. Look at it this way, HBO is only $10.00 more a month and you get a ton of extra stuff for that money so...

I currently have a "free" HBO package... Now if UFC makes a deal with HBO does that mean every UFC event would be on it ?

Don't have HBO as of now, but if the deal goes through, Henderson vs Rampage is worth it
