I like Nick but he doesn't have the charisma that Ali had.

Dana is a moron trying to play "God" in the UFC. He thinks he's untouchable which is true for now, but you can't be on top forever. His day will come...Karma is a b!tch. Watching Dana get his will be very enjoyable.
Let NICK back you T@RD!!!

Ali was more out in the open than Diaz, but they have the same attitude. I'm gonna do things my way no matter what you think.

They do have that same attitude but again Ali had much more charisma which Diaz unfortunately doesn't have.
edit - or record for that matter. Nick is what 6-4 in the UFC and 1 NC in Pride?

I personally didn't like Ali and still don't. Not his skill. But Him. It's his political stance and other things which I wont bring up on this site.. Draft dodger and the such... Like I stated, not his skill.but him. WarDawg

If I were Nate Diaz, I'd use this as a personal fuel to train even harder and fill in the few holes he has in his game and SMASH every fighter The UFC puts in front of him and force the UFC to recognize
The Diaz Brothers!

No worries Dana can still act like he Is a tough boxing guy talk smack all he wants but the bottom line Is his career went no where and now he Is a white Don King . I love and respect what he has done with the sport making it main stream and bringing great fights to each PPV event , but having said all that Is he running a business for himself or for the fans ? If he personally has problems with fighters thats too damn bad for him don't Invite them over for Dinner but don't let It effect your business outlook. He might have a strong dislike for guys like Tito , Nick , Josh barnett but thats too F***ing bad for him because fans of all sorts love those guys . How can you claim to want to bring the best MMA when your hand picking who comes and who goes .

I didn't say he was the next Ali. I simply stated that they have the same attitude towards things and that attitude didn't hurt boxing, so it won't hurt MMA.

If you are saying he is not the next Ali why are you comparing what Ali did with Diaz and MMA?
Ali had charisma, amazing talent and attitude. Diaz has talent (not close to being on the same level as Ali) and attitude. While it may not hurt MMA, this Ali comparision is just weak.

All I was comparing was their attitudes, which are similar; Both said what they meant and didn't give a f*** what anyone thought.

It looks like the threat of posting the emails worked in some way. To what extent, we don't know yet.

This looks very positive to me, unless nick doesn't wanna ruin nate's plans. Lets just hope nick is signing contracts.

I wonder if they'll let Nick corner Nate in his UFC contract fights?

I agree. Has anybody heard the phrase: "Don't bite the hand that feeds you?" Unfortunately, Nate has that same punk attitude and it wouldn't surprise me to see him bite that same hand.

This Dana White BS is more than likely what's plying on the mind of Fedor, and why he hasn't signed yet.
On a side note. I have never seen a president of a sports organization be shown on camera as much as they show Dana White.

Dana's no tard, he's being a huge prick, but he's no retard. MMA is exploding and he's at the forefront leading it all. The casual fan isn't going to know anything about this, just the hardcore fans. He's just doing this so Nick can get a taste of his own medicine and shuts up

how does this not suggest that gracie fighter is cowardly? dana is an ******* according to everyone for what he has done, yet somehow some members see this as a success in some way? i dont get it.
to me, the issue is simple: dana is teh boss, and as such he as the right to compose his workforce in any manner he sees fit. period.
nick talked so much smack, yet everyone says carma will bit dana in the ass. is it not possible that this is carma biting nick in the ass? i suspect it is.

Dana White > the fans in his mind. It's like he is willing to dictate who can or cannot fight in MMA. He does forget that we pay the money and keep him in business. My take is that most people like the way he fights. If Dana is saying, Nick is mouthy and a punk so I will keep him out to show everyone what I can do, then the sport is likely doomed for mainstream. Tip of the iceburg? Gawd imagine the god complex he's instilling in TUF fighters. Oh, here comes god, we better watch what we say. Naw, these guys are fighters. Entertaining fighters need to stay. Dana has too much pride and way too much at stake to cave on this one. Like I was thinking, it's getting ugly without competition. Ironically the guy trying to put MMA on the map is shooting himself in the foot.
