Dana White may have some issues, but he's no Don King (at least, not yet). I just think that he's trying to make a point with Nick Diaz. But, he's taking it too far. As I said before, a family of fighters ought to be encouraged, brought along, and allowed to fight. The Nogs, the Ruas, the Diaz brothers, the Emelianenko brothers, etc, etc, are ALL good for MMA.

I would love to see Nick in a ring fighting just about anyone and I won't get into defending Dana here but didn't the guy just get cause for a banned substance? I think the kid has to grow up before Dana will accept him back. That is a bussiness decision. A possible black eye for the UFC. The kid has great talent and is a warrior but we have to balance that with the other stuff we see from him. Bussiness decision, not what we would all like to see unfortunatly.

What I like about Nick is that there is no "back down" in him, and he is gonna keep fighting no mater what as long as he is conscious. His fights with Parysian and Sanchez were both very good ones.

Please don't jump me over this, but I wonder (just wonder, haven't heard anything) if he has maybe tested positive before under UFC's tests and been warned, and if signing the Pride contracts and then testing positive publicly was the final straw for the UFC?

Either way, I would like to see him fight some more. His fights are almost always exciting, win, lose, or NC.

I personally feel that Nick is one of the best and most exciting fighters out there and really do wish that Dana would bring him back. I would actually like to see him fight Frank Shamrock; that would be a very interesting fight.

I think the business decision argument is rubbish. No offence. It's an ego decision. Busted for pot? Big whoop. Look around, a lot worse things are happening in sports right? So, it's ego and power trip. It got personal. If this happened because of some postive test, then what does that mean precident wise? Ban all fighters who commit worse acts? I don't think so.
