Nimmy, saying it divides communitys is true to Glasgow because of the religion issue but the same degree of animosity between couldnt apply to other "derby" towns! I think Glasgow is an exceptional case. Soccer is popular because it is deeply ingrained in British society as it is a working class sport. However, as time goes on, and the game gets more and more saturated with money, the average man on the street has less and less in common with the players.

My arguement is basically that, in my opinion if you take away the hype and tradition, as a sport, soccer is an extreamly boring, where very little happens.
