you attacking the idea or the poster?
pride didnt test and fedor still kicked ass.
i think that dr. chicago's point may have been, and correct me if im wrong, is that in order to have a level playing field, the participants have to be on even keel. if we have a few fighters who are on the juice and these guys arent tested or beat the test, we have an apple and orange fighting rather than two apples fighting. if, however, we were to legalize steroids and regulate it, all fighters have the similar opportunity to fight similar fighters to themselves, and also have a governing body ensure teh safety of all those involved.
in terms of legitimacy, look at baseball. how many ball players are cheating (yes, i believe it is cheating), yet baseball is still america's past time, at least until mma takes over
i find it interesting that there is such a high level of self governing in differing sports, much like my community, or even ff, wherein if someone oversteps the bounds of acceptable conduct, there will subtle cues as to which conduct is deemed offensive. barry bonds aint getting so much love these days, and is booed out of every park but one, amd teh media and other players seem rather tentative to comment on his action, almost as an attempt to distance themselves from his actions.
anyway, sorry dr. C if i misspoke, remember dukey loves you all, and vote kentified fro mod!!!
keep our sports clean, and if this proves impossible or improbable, lets at teh very least try to keep our sports safe, i guess.
