Turns out according to CNN Health Watch, that flame retardants used in America that do things like keep couches, Refrigerators, carpets, and mattresses from catching on fire MAY be the cause of the increase in Thyroid Disease in Cats here in America.

Now PETA is mad because they say that no product, even in the vein of safety, should be used if animals have to suffer for it.

I call BS on that. Mankind has dominion over animals. PERIOD. I dont buy the Michael Vick insanity (Although I hate what he did to those pit bulls, but facts are facts theyre animals and oh well)......

I do think we should get this mad at what Vick did. Having said that I believe we should be that much more mad at people who inflict pain on other people.

In other words I don't want anyone to back off of Vick however I wonder why people have lost so much sensitivity to human suffering.

We really don't get that mad when humans are killed. But we're sure as hell pissed to the point of destroying a young man's livelihood (EVen though it's Michael Vick).

Over a couple of dogs. Or even a few dozen...

So what? They're still dogs. And NOBODY should have to suffer that fate of losing their livelihood over a couple of goddamn animals. Nobody should ever have to suffer the fate of a person not being able to provide for thier kids, family, etc., over a bunch of damn animals.

Just because society has forgotten human life is less precious than "A Dog's"

Do I think Vick should go to jail? Yes. For 10 days.

Do I think he should lose EVERYTHING?

HELL NO.
