I worked at a HomeBase many years back and the subcontractors we used were the source of 99% of our complaints. They usually are the cheapest on the market and deal with all home improvement stores so are way overbooked and can never finish the work in the timeframe promised and when they do show up they rush through the jobs to get to the next job as quickly as possible.
