Where are the Rashad haters at now?!
He dominated the best HW in the competition. No showboating, just a smart, effective gameplan. My respect for the man has gone up tenfold. What do yall think?

He owned that fight.
He looks like a better fighter when he's not doing retarded things in the ring.

Dang you beat me too it LuvMyCrx. I told everyone here that Rashad was going to beat Mike and everyone was saying Rashad was weak but nobody would bet on Mike to win. Rashad DOMINATED the whole fight and Dana was saying Mike is an overall better fighter but I don't see how thats true cause the guy lost. I wish Rashad showboatd more thought that would of really got his haters mad. I hope Rashad wins it all just to rub it in the doubters faces!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too! If he had done the shoulder shake for at least the last ten seconds when Mike quit, that would have been awesome.

OK I'll say it, I'm a Rashad hater. Mike looked like CRAP, but Rashad did too. As much as Mike just stood around Rashad did nothing to capitalize on it. It was another sad heavyweight fight. And no Rashad is not going to win.

I think its pretty obvious now… Mike was ANYTHING but the best HW in the competition. lol
For the record I am a Rashed hater. I do admit he made a very big improvement from his last fight though.

Rashad isn't the best fighter but he has what it's going to take, even if it's not much, to make it to the finals and put himself into a spot to win the $$$. When he meets some real HW competition he will get KTFO!

We are right here: http://www.fightforum.com/showthread...2227#post22227
And i got news for ya,just because rashad dominated two mediocre fighters does not mean he is worth a crap either. He could not even pull out a KO win to the the extra big money, even against peices of fluff like tom and mike.
If rashad wins TUF2 it won't be because he is worth a **** as a fighter. It will only have been because he happened to LUCKILY be the least crappiest HW picked for TUF2.
So yeah in the land of mediocreity and lousey HW fighters, Rashad reigns SUPREME. Feel free to bragg for what little credableity that gets the guy....

I don't think he made much if ANY improvment at all. Nor had the chance to show any of it if he did, considering the guy he was up against was just as lousey as tom.
And he could not even pull out a KO this time either. Even when the whole time mike just looked psysically and mentelly beaten, with rashad having a 11+minute window of oppertunity to KTFO mike.

I dunno, Grave. Matt knows Whitehead pretty well, and wouldnt have picked him first unless he was at least decent. Maybe Rashad made him do poorly. If you know you cant beat someone, you knew you underestimated him, sometimes you shut down. I think this happened to Mike. I think Rashad deserves alot of credit for this one.

I'll give Rashad credit he looked very good last night. Mike plain sucked!!!!
There is no way he could have been the best HW??? Seems like it was another talk, talk, talk then when the chips are down he could not ante up.

Oh come on Grave, save it! Give Rashad his respect and move on.
He made 0 mistakes in the fight. Sure, it wasn't real thrilling, but his gameplan was good. If Rashad defeated Arlovski, you would make excuses. (just for the record, Rashad would be finished early by Arlovski)
Give the guy his due, and move on to the next episode. He didn't even showboat this fight, which actually made me a bigger fan of him. That was the only thing I didn't like about his first fight.
When it's all said and done, Rashad is 2-0 in the competition, and I think he will definitely be in the finals with a chance to win a million. He is doing pretty good for being so "terrible" as some would say.
I'm with LuvMyCRX on this one.

RAWNG! If he beat someone with actual skill like arlovski it would be different, as he will have proved himself against a proven competitor.
The problem with his fights in TUF2 is,all he has fought were pathetic,near-helpless wannabes. Mike and tom were beyond sucky in their performence and rashad could not even pull out a KO win to get the big money bonus, dispite having a million chances to do so. He definitly could have layed out mike in the middle of that third round if his skills were slightly more up to par, but nope rashad being as mediocre as he is could not even do that.
Giving Rashad praise for beating up those two chumps would be like giving him praise for kicking around a few cats. please...all rashad have proven to the world thus far is he is the least crappiest HW in the TUF2 cast and that is NOT saying much.

It says a million dollars! That's enough for me.
And leave Arlovski out of this discussion. Great fighters like Tim Sylvia can't defeat him. You are telling me Rashad couldn't compete with Brandon Vera, Mike Kyle, Wes Sims, etc.? Be honest.

It's funny how when some people refer to the HW division they are only talking about Andrei. I don't see any reason Rashad can't hang with the actual HW division in UFC, shoot he is probably better than some of the guys in it now.

Why thank you. I try to speak the truth most of the time. I've gotten better about it especially when it comes to Andrei. I used to be a "hater" but I've warmed up to him a bit and realized he is better than I thought he was.

I'm no hater of either, just like to see a good fight. That fight was crap. I was yelling at the TV and could only imagine how embarassed and ashamed Matt was for bigging Mike up to be the best. He might very well have some skills.....but it doesn't matter how hard you study if you still flunck the final and Mike flunked BIG TIME.
I am really not impressed with any of the heavy weights. The ones I was looking forward to watching got hurt in the first few episodes (which made this season a little dull to watch) and the ones that are left now are just plain boring. They're slow, un-coordinated, and just don't seem to have what it takes to fight in the octagon. I know they come with prior fighting experience but if they choke on TV then Dana isn't going to put them on. They're just not exciting enough to pay for on PPV or watch at 11 at night. In fact I"m glad I taped the last episode because it would have sucked to stay up all night for such a let down fight.
Just a shame in my opinion.
