Angry Race Fans ??? HOLY CRAP !!!

Colin McRae died Saturday in a helicopter crash !!!!

IGN: Codemasters Pays Tribute to Colin McRae

Shame on ESPN and others for not reporting this I just heard about it looking at IGN.com and they had something on it cause of the racing game that was named after him.

If you don't know who Colin is he is a Rally Racing legend (LEGEND) I'm not even a BIG rally watcher I catch it when I can here and there I really like it just hard to know when they are showing new events............But this guy is a freaking legend in his sport and I didn't see a darn thing about it on FOX sports or ESPN at all.

It was pretty big news over here.
But us folks are big on rally...

I used to have Colin McRae Rally on PS too.
I wish I could drive a few records in his memory. It was an awesome game. Shouldn't have gotten rid of it.

R.I.P.

I'm not a rally fan, nor did I know who he was, but I know when to give respect up to a person. I checked out the first few posts of the Sherdog link, and those guys really are dicks. I was particularly unimpressed with the guy who said:

just because we **** all over your thread, we're inconsiderate?

please.

end yourself.

thank you.

Sad news.

That was my first time visiting the Sherdog forums and my goodness!
Do they not have mods or they just don't have any rules?

I hate it when things like this happen, rest in peace Colin.

That is the reason I never bothered with Sherdog, immature kids who have no respect.

Yeah it sucks I remember watching one Rally event about a year or so ago and he was driving the car like nothing while his navigator was screwing the steering wheel back on cuz it start getting loose it was crazy.

And yeah Travis is probably filling this one.....He was a really big fan of Colins.

Then I heard today on SPEED that I think it was the car owner or a former owner got in a heli crash only 24 hrs after Colins......No one hurt in that one but I was like WTH !!

It sucks it would have been nice to see him have a few good runs over here in the X-Games since they started doing Rally events.

RebL: i remember that rally when his steering wheel was falling off.
the navigator reaches in the back and grabs a ratchet and socket and tightens it back on.
very calm in that situation.

RIP to a great driver and a guy that seemed really cool from interviews i watched and read

Yeah he was pretty cool......I don't think I'll ever forget that steering wheel thing that was one of the crazyest things I ever saw in motor sports.
