second, im not huge on your whole, the record books show it was a win so it was a win and nothing else matters... its a message board, and you of all people should know that some things need to be looked at more indepthly.... i thought based on the elements of UFC scoring (which again, you always bring up) hamil completely dominated... i dont care about either fighter so it doesnt "bother" me... but being so black and white on the issue and saying a win is a win because it says so in the books is quite obtuse

Define "dominated"... because it seems tossed around a lot when, in fact, no domination occurred. And, the referees are not employed by Zuffa. In the US, the State Athletic Commissions employ the referees. In England, I am not so sure who handled that end of the issue.
And, the record books will always be the bottom line of any fight outcome. The rest will always be opinions and speculations. Sure, that's what we are here for, but I like to toss water on the fire of "fixed fights" and "Joe Rogan should be fired because he did not freak out about the decision" type of nonsense. And, I think that Hamill lost by an ultra-thin margin. At best, I would agree that the fight ought to have been a draw.
