Totally. Does Tito Ortiz Fan realize that saying what "some races" do IS a racist statement? It's like me saying, "White people put relish on their hotdogs, and that's gross." People think racism begins and ends at hating another race, but generalizations are the bulk of it.
Edit: Stereoism. Noun. The philosophical belief that your stereo defines your identity.

It is not a racist statement because I did not mention a race, however if what you say is true then any discussion about a race is racist. That would mean if I even said I like all races, its racist. You are being, I feel, over sensitive.

It is very true that "some races" unintentionally reinforce their own stereotypes but there are a plethora of reasons as to why. I am a sociology major so I could go on for hours if there were open ears but topics such as this are not welcome here.

I'll spell it out for you. Saying what "some races" do is a generalization. You're saying that entire races behave a certain way, without allowing for any consideration of the individual. I assume you're a white dude, but I have no way of knowing. For the purpose of discussion, do you want someone of another race to say that all white people think or behave a certain way? If someone meets a neo-nazi who hates visible minorities, should he then assume that all white people are like that? No? Then don't tell us what "some races" do, because I'm sure there are a million exceptions within that race who would object to being swept up in your gross generalizations.

are you trying to say white bears don't attack as many people as black bears?

Just thinking about racism makes me think...
