Yeah man I agree. When he was fighting I was telling my girl. "looks like he is keeping his chin down now" It is good that the fighter is still in him. I think that is an asset to unvail when needed but it never hurts to add tools to your belt.

Damnit, the only guys who won that I actually wanted to win were Quarry and Cummo

I'm really disappointed that we didn't get to see the Cummo fight. From what I read sounds like he was getting taunted really bad and then KTFO'd Crocota1:45 minutes into round one. Thats classic.
I'm kind of surprised that Quarry pulled that fight out. His standup looked sloppy and he kept his hands down a lot during the fight. He did not look crisp at all and pretty much lost the standup war up to the point that he knocked drago out. But he certainly showed heart.
Anyone who underestimates Florian has to be a complete idiot. This guy can fight and continually brings it. I loved his comment at the end about Joe Silva and future fights. I think Florian wins this fight even if Din's knee didn't get hurt.
Kind of suprised to hear that Cole Miller beat Leonard Garcia. I had some pretty high hopes for Garcia after his previous 2 fights in the UFC. Back to teh drawing board I guess.
The Leben/Martin fight was really entertaining. Seeing Leben standing there with his arms held out after the fight was priceless. It looked like he was in a complete state of disbelief and confusion. And for good reason.

Cole Miller is pretty decent in my eyes..glad that he won! Nate Diaz looks good..looks like he improve his striking.
Quarry and Leben..wow. UFN delivers again..

Oh Yeah, great UFN!
Quarry definitely showed ring rust, but both guys wanted that win REAL bad. Poor Drago, he tries so hard and takes so much punishment every time.
Diaz looked very polished and confident for someone just starting out. Beautiful bjj.
Leben's chin really is amazing, which means that Silva really is one bad mutha. I was impressed that Leben didn't start up his windmill last night, and he mixed up his attack beautifully with combo punches, kicks, knees, elbows and stomps. Martin's belt hopes are dead for now. He needs to practice more than just his KO punch. Winging singles is not going to work against the top guys.
So sad to see Din go out like that, I was enjoying the hell out of that fight. Ken-Flo proves again that he belongs in the division elite, but I would have loved to see more. The early injury makes the ending inconclusive AFAIC.

I don't understand what everyone is so excited about. Quarry, Sell, Martin and Leben all looked like garbage. Sure they were entertaining fights but none of them looked like they did any cardio leading up to the fights. Very unprofessional looking.
Martin/Leben looked like a slow motion replay for 2 rounds and Quarry/Sell wasn't much better. Both fights had the look and feel of a tough man competition. Personally I'd rather see a semi-boring fight between 2 guys that look like they actually trained before the fight, than the slop-fest we saw last night. Thank God for Diaz and Florian because everyone else looked amateurish.

Im glad that Florian won his fight but I think that it was finished so fast due to Thomas hurting his knee on the takedown attempt more than Florian being dominant in the first round.
Florian won and did a great job but I believe that the fight would have been a lot longer had Thomas not injured his knee on that shot. I dont think that Thomas would have won but it would have went later into the fight, maybe a decision if the injury hadnt occured.

Dang, so MW is screwed again Even though I didn't think Martin would ever be champion, he was improving enough that some people thought he would at least get a shot at the title at some point in the next year-year 1/2. Now, we're stuck again wondering what happens after Franklin/Silva since all of the top competitors are coming off losses, and no one further down the chain has enough of a streak going on to make a really marketable fight.

I thought Lebens cardio looked much better than Martins until round 3. He really spent his energy with the attempted submission at the end of the second round.
As others have pointed out Quarry was a little rusty but you cannot deny his heart. And I thought Drago looked pretty good. His punches were crisper than usual and he was being a bit more conservative so as not to get KTFO by rushing in early. He was clearly leading going into round 3 so the gameplan was working until he did get blasted. I feel for Sell, he wears his heart on his sleeve.
Nate Diaz put on a clinic. That was pretty to watch.

Yeah great card! Diaz looked very good. Quarry has some of the most accrurate straight punches I have seen, but he was a bit rusty and still pulled it off. Sell is what he is, tough as nails and always in the fight. Leben did look great in his guard and standing, gased a little but still broght it when he got hurt. Martin looked bad and I can't wait for his comments of the fight after what he was saying before. Florian looked sharp and I hope he gets stevenson next, for a shot at the title. Thomas caught a bad break and I hope he comes back, always liked him. The taunting thing was no big deal, but it did make kenny come for him lol.

Martins skill set is weak, not impressed. Chris looked real good, knees in the clinch were great, he looked much improved. Ken- flo, great as always. So stoked that Cummo got the win too.

I completely agree. Those fights were all like watching amateurs in a small local show. It was nice to watch but it felt a little expoitive, like watching a Tough Man.
At this level, how are guys still gassing???? While Leben's physique was good, I feel I've seen him much sharper in previous fights.
That being said, Kenflo and Nate looked great. Shame about Din, that looked to be a real classic.

Yeah I know everyone keeps saying that Quarry looked rusty but to me he looked like he always looked. He always had a Rockem-Sockem kind of style. But hey if it works go with it. I think a lot of the reason he looks like that when he fights is his back though. Martin did eat his words for sure. I can't wait to hear the interview either. I like Martin if he keeps his mouth closed. lol

Unfortunately he was in such poor condition, we didn't really get to see it. He was visibly gassed from the first few series of haymakers he threw in the first round and never recovered from there.
