Thiago Alves Calls Out Fitch
Advertising at Sherdog.com
Alves is a good fighter, but I don't think he is on Fitchs level. I think Fitch would own him.

If Fitch wins (decisive) tonight while Sanchez looks impressive I will give him all the credit he deserves. Until then I'm not that impressed.

As much as I like Thiago, I don't think he can handle Fitch.

He beat Burkman better than Karo did.
he's not well known, that doesn't mean he's no good

Yeah, for some reason the UFC has decided to keep Fitch under the radar.
But Fitch has some damn good skills. I'd pick Fitch to beat Hughes if they ever fought.

If Fitch wins tonight, he should get a top WW, not Alves. If he loses tonight, I still don't want to see a rematch with Alves. That has already been settled. There are plenty of interesting fights for both without a rematch. What's the point? Mid-carders should never rematch IMO.

Winner of this fight tonight should get Karo imo. I'd love Sanchez vs Karo II.

Fitch is a well rounded fighter and if he and Hughes ever meet I would pick Fitch.....But I have a feeling Fitch will face GSP first and then the winner will face the winner of Hughes vs. Serra for the belt.

I agree. And there's no reason at all for Fitch to fight Alves at this point in his career.

I believe he would beat MH as well and after MH and Serra fight for the the belt I believe GSP wil fight the winner (MH I bet) and then after that Fitch should get the next shot at the title. I believe GSP and Fitch are the top 2 WWs at the moment.....

GSP is already getting the winner of Serra-Hughes. With no fight before it.
