What an awful night! Shogun showed up more out of shape than I have ever seen him before.
Thank God for Jason Miller's cameos!!!! Mayhem, you are the man.

Overrated and overhyped Shogun gasses early. Jardine brings a good gameplan and Chuck wasn't the same after he got sat down in the second round. Not a bad event IMO, but I would have liek to see the Iceman win.

I love how you refer to fighters "letting" the fight go to decision as if they are not trying to finish the other guy. I knew this fight was going to decision b/c both of these guys are hard to finish as they have proven in the past. It is not always easy to finish someone and when they dont they shouldnt have to worry about getting robbed on the decision. If you serioulsy thought Diego won your judging skills are flawed; even Diego knew he had lost.....

Also, i know you guys normally do the quote of the night. My fav was "Chuck loves when guys chase him around"

Machida is by far the best LHW these days. That is why Forrest did not want to fight him. He knew he would get his ass kicked.

I am not going to analyze Shogun and just give credit to Forrest; he came out w/ a great gameplan and executed it.....

That's BS. You cannot read his mind. You have no idea what he was thinking.

If I could have you do one thing sub... It would be to stop saying... Well sherdog says this and sherdog says that.. Sherdog also says Fitch won and therefore Iam trying to fight back the urge of saying.. "Its a win for fitch and you cant change that so stick a fork in it"... Remember when you said something VERY simliar to that just a week or so ago.?. Be your own damn man, it made your posts much more valuable IMO..
On gripe #2... Your whole never let it go to a decision argument.. Do you think these guys say, "oh Iam gonna just eak out a decision"(Besides Sylvia ) I think most of these guys fight there asses off and try to finish but when you got another guy trying to do the same to you, it makes it difficult.. I too would like fights to have a CLEAR finished winner everytime but we all know thats never gonna happen.. Therefore scoring needs to be defined and refined...
That aside I thought the judgeing was actually pretty good.. Atleats I could EASLY agree with the winners they picked..
For my last question to sub, do you feel ANY of the decisions tonight were worse than the Bisping Hamill fight???
As I touched on before sub, I actually have quite a bit of respect for you and what you say. So I hope you havn't taken offence to the above.. But Lately man the Sherdog stuff and your rants have seem outta left field..

Give me a F'N break. I hardly ever, almost NEVER, say Sherdog says this or Sherdog said that. I merely quoted Sherdog this one time in the PBP. They keep accurate records for fight outcomes, so screw off if you don't like that. But, since their PBP disagreed with you and agreed with me, you have to try some BS tactic. I don't care what you say, that fight was close. It could have gone either way. But, Fitch won the decision.

Did people actually find UFC 76 a good night of fighting? Am I the only one who found it extremely boring?

Boring? Hmm, maybe. I mean, I hate decisions. So, I find that annoying. I'm not sure that means boring. The Sanchez-Fitch fight was entertaining. And, I liked seeing Griffin and Jardine win.

I thought it was the best UFC of the year. It was friggin historical really. Chuck lost a decision for the first time ever and the "best LHW in the world" got stopped. What more can you ask for?

One good fight and seeing 2 guys you like win is hardly good enough.

By comparison, UFN-11 kicked the crap out of UFC-76. LOL, they should have called UFN-11 "Knockout" LOL. The free event was better than the PPV.
