Fitch vs. Sanchez
Extremely technical fight. Glad to see Jon Fitch win and finally recognized for his talent. I hope he gets a shot at the title soon. Thoughts on the fight?

Fitch fought very smart and props for that. However he didn't really "bring it" and the fight on his part was a little boring.

I liked that head slam. He never really let Diego get going and I thought he did a good job nuetralizing him. I thought it was one of the best fights of the night.

It was a good fight. I just wish there had been a finish to it that did not include the judges.

Fitch is a tough mofo. He is very strong for a ww. Very impressive domination win tonight against Sanchez, who tried but could not reverse his luck.

That domination word gets over-used way too much. A split decision cannot ever be a domination.

Agreed, that wasnt a domination by any means. It was an exciting fight the whole way through, and each guy had opportunities to win.

Thoughts on the fight? Dude these guys are amazing. No doubt Fitch was the winner but was Diego not a freaking worm or what. That guy was great and Fitch was even better tonight. That choke............that triagle escape........ Awesome

Haha when Fitch said he was impossible to choke and that was his trademark. Do you think his next fight will be for the title?

That should have been a unanimous decision.

I think the split decision was the correct one. IMO, from my POV, the first round was extremely close to call, but somebody had to win.

How can a split decision ever be correct? It means one of the refs (or the other 2) ****ed up.

Refs? You mean judges. One judge saw that round one could have gone to Sanchez and scored it that way. The other two gave round one to Fitch. I would be curious to hear the judges explain why they picked who they picked in this fight. But, since it was not controversial, we will likely not get the judges thoughts on this fight.

Well, sometimes we do get to hear how a ref thought I fight should have gone. We got that with Hamill-Bisping.

Do you mean "a fight" or "I fight"?
sub, no hard feelings. I hate seeing Shogun look so awful and I feel quite sensitive right now.
