i really enjoyed all the fights tonight.

i like to see fights ended, however I felt that the only fight that was a little boring was machida fight.

forrest is a chmp!

forrest vs rampage?
machida vs houston?
wandy vs jardine ?
chuck vs shogun ?

there are alot of interesting match ups coming in the lhw division

I think two were fairly close. But, I kept getting anxious and mad every time a fight went the distance and I waited for the decision. It just seemed like each time the judges could have screwed somebody. But, tonight was not a night of screw overs. It could have been bad.

All I see in this thread is you complaining about (imo) one of the best UFC PPVs ever.

I also dislike decisions but with fights like the ones in this PPV i wasnt upset because they were GREAT FIGHTS. I wish every UFC PPV was as exciting as this one, and imo if you have a problem with this card for whatever reason then you arent a true MMA fan.

Are you calling me a d***? Seriously, why bash people? That guy just ragged on the forums. Why hang here, if the forums upset you so badly?

And, I never complained about the PPV. I said that UFN-11 was better. I don't think that means I complained.

And, I liked seeing Griffin FINISH the best LHW in the world. I liked seeing Liddell lose to Jardine.

But, when the Liddell-Jardine fight ended and I waited for the decision, for a brief moment, I thought the judges would screw Jardine over. Thank god they didn't.

You make a good point about the judging...but I do get the feeling you wouldn't be complaining about the judging nearly as much if Diego had gotten the nod.

Fitch won. I thought round one was close. If Sanchez had won, then I am sure that people would point to round one and say Fitch should have won because that round was so close. BUT, I am not saying that Sanchez won the fight. Only that it could easily have gone either way. It was NOT domination by Fitch the way that somebody stated. And, yeah, I wanted Sanchez to win. But, he lost.

Fair assessment. Definitely not domination, not like the way Shogun got completely owned lol. So, since you're THE Diego guy here, who should he fight next?

Most people just don't like decisions in general, for obvious reasons. In another thread, I actually open hoped every single fight would end in a decision, just for the irony of a card called "Knockout" to have nothing but decisions on it. Imagine when some casual/noob fan sees the DVD on the shelf, stops and thinks "Wow it's called Knockout...I'll rent this one!!" and watches it and sees all the decisions. Priceless.

Sorry for calling you a d***, but I dont like how you defend whatever you say by just telling the other person to leave the forum if they dont like it. Besides, I dont think OBT was ragging on the forums at all.

I also think its a bit wierd that you are suddenly so sensitive when your attitude is so...brash normally.

And saying that UFN 11 is better isnt complaining, but complaining about how many decisions there were does count as complaining

i cant believe i try to come on this forum of supposed, sel-proclaimed true mma fans and see nothing other than bitching bout the lack of knockouts

WITH AMAZINGLY TECHNICAL FIGHTS LIKE THIS???

food for thought you self-righteous prudes...i watched the fights with a guy who doesnt watch mma and loves boxing, he loved every second of it and was enthralled with the action on the ground while also appreciating the exchanges on the feet...NEVER complaining about decisions and pointing out that he felt he understood the fighters gameplans by the later stages of the fights...something you "hardcores" cant ever seem to do

take those words home and think it through, and maybe ill stay away

from "fans" like yourselves who make me feel guilty for enjoying fights

but i ramble and i doubt it will change any of you....id rather see spoilers than nonsense like what i read on here
I totaly agrea witha ll you sayd Nice to agrea with you for a change hehe.
I thought this was one of the best UFC shows I seen. I was very supriced I though a lot of fights would be one sided. In fact all fights was good.
I don`t understand the whining about a big KO etc. everyone seem to ask for here.

Do you guys even like MMA?

How can you not like close fights with a lot of tactic in it? I don`t get it. I had a great time watching this event after I woke up and I am ipressed with the 2 TUF fighters that pulled huge wins this evening.
Start matching up Bis aswell now. Maybe he will grow frome it 2 and finaly become a top fighter aswell.

Best event in a long long time. I love upsets, Forrest is the man. I hope the Shogun hype is gone now. To the people giving Jardine a snowballs chance in hell, told ya so. Forrest not only beat Shogun but dominated him .

maybe i was a little abrasive in my language, i apologize

but thats 100% how i feel as far as the issue thereof and i really feel that posters (sorry cant remember who atm but the following is NOT my original thought) point using houston alexander was excellent, because it is so true if finish fights early people will say you have to prove yourself by winning decisions...same guys that will say that you went to a decision because you are too unskilled to finish

Yeah, you're right. I guess that I like these forums, and just took it too close to heart that OBT seemed to say that the forums sucked.

I have moods. Sometimes I can get sensitive, too sensitive. All I can do is apologize.

I just think that an event that used the name "Knockouts" should hav had a few KO wins, LOL. Like Flying Triangle Choke said, when somebody that did not know better goes to buy or rent the DvD fo UFC-76, they will have a huge dissapointment coming when they think that there will be a bunch of great KO wins. I wish thet the UFC would just drop the whole title thing for events.
