I think both coaches are pretty darn good to be honest. They just have different styles.

If Mike Whitehead would have stuck to Matt's gameplan, he would have had much more success. But in the end, he didn't stick to any gameplan except for getting his ass kicked. Matt can teach the methods of fighting, but he can't do the fighting. And that's what it all comes down to.
