JARDINE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHO IN THE HELL GAVE CHUCK 29-28 ??????????????
I am just about fed up with these damn judges who bet on the side or don't want to get boo'd or whatever.......... GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!!!
Jardine won the whole fight 30-27, 29-28 LEAST (1st rd was a toss up)
NOW WHO IS SILVA GOING TO FIGHT???????????

I think Jardine would do awful against Jackson's wrestling.
As for this fight as much as I hate to see it Jardine won. If chuck would have closed the distance he would have had a better chance at a knockout. Plus, it would take the effect away from Jardine's leg/body kicks.
I just lost 5k

Liddel looked horrible. I am not a fan og him in the first place.
Allways thought he was boring. He don`t even look to much like a fighter any more.
What kind of a kickboxer do not check low legg kicks?
He look like he is to fat to throw kicks, he should start to run again and stop being lazy and partying.

Then again it could be argued they are the millionaires and I'm just a bum with an internet connection.

I see what you are saying but I love the matchups. Just shows you that all fights are super fights.

Since NO ONE expected this fight to go to the ground, I would have expected Chuck to throw more leg kicks, but he didn't. This would have at least kept Jardine guessing a little. Chuck should have also closed the distance instead of waiting on the outside for one big punch (this ran the clock down by the way, and not in his favor). Chuck lost this fight because he is a one dimensional fighter. People are getting wise to his tatics and just aren't chasing him anymore. He needs to seriously reevaluate his game plan.
Did you see the look on Silva's face? He looked thoroughly disappointed, as I'm sure most MMA fans were. It seems like it will be a long time before we see Silva vs Liddell, and if Chuck keeps fighting like this, I'm not sure if I want to see it.

As far as Silva vs Liddell - why not now? Both are coming off of back to back losses. That evens things up a bit.

I don't think Chuck looked all that much different - just expecting a KO from outside like always. He got out-gamed by a more hungry fighter.
Chuck never clinches, never shoots, never kicks unless it is in a convenient combo. These days the same bombing plan doesn't cut it. Too much reliance on the same old game. Wheres the versatility? Chuck has been overconfident in what worked before.

That was a crazy fight, I thought the judges were going to rob Jardine but I'm glad they didn't. Is it going to be Jardine/Wandy now? I hope they still let Chuck fight Wandy, they are both coming off of 2 straight losses now.

THe Judge that scored the fight in favor of Liddell is blind or brain dead.
I had a feeling Chuck would come into this fight over confident and thinking he'd land one of his big shots. I've been waiting for someone like Jardine to come out and show how one dimensional he really is. If Chuck doesnt change his tactics he will never see the title again.

I saw the fight as 29/28 for Jardine or atleast a very controversial draw.

He said in a video that repeated many times that Chuck had gotten carried away by the rockstar lifestyle.

I did miss that one. But it is pretty obvious. I just didn't know Zana had acknowledged it publicly.

Wow what a fight! Never would have thought it would go to a decision, kind of makes the UFC look silly calling the event 'Knockout' and not having a single KO lol!
Still the fight was exciting. Some of those kicks from Jardine looked brutal! He definately showed he's no joke in this fight, I'd like to see a Jardine v Wanderlei match up now.

Jardine is a dog! What a fight He hit Chuck like a hundred times and almost KO'd him. Very impressive.
Wanderlei didn't look too happy though

Wandy's gonna fall just as fast as chuck once he comes to the ufc so i dont see why he cares.

So, he loses against Filipovic and Hendo, decides to take some time off to regroup, changes the country where he lives and the way he trains, is around 5 years younger than Liddell, seems to be very happy with the new venture in the UFC... and you dismiss him just like that?
I actually believe Wandy is putting himself in a very good position to domainte the division. He is making smart choices (delaying the fight with Chuck) and the top fighters of the division are all guys he could very likely beat (Jackson and Hendo he has already defeated) and anything but a win against Griffin or Jardine would be a big upset.
So, no, his future in the UFC looks very good to me.

we will see. they even said at the ppv wandy considers shogun the top chute box fighter so for him to lose to forest makes me think that dont show a bright future for him. p.s:Hendo wrecked silva for his title do you not rember this?? Even if silva has beat Dan...Dan beat him last.

For some unknown reason Shogun did not come into the fight in shape. Inexcusable at this level. Has he been seen out and about the clubs too much too?
