Default Can your license be terminated or suspended if your reported for reckless driving

b/c taday this crazy **** happened!~ i got tailed by a dude, i think he tailed me too get my plate......... and i think may have reported me for wreckless driving.

To clarify i was not wreckless driving, this idiot was driving on the wrong side of the street in a school zone, i honked twice then proceeded too pass him on the right side of the street.

he then started tailing me and eventually i lost him.

Btw this is extra concerning b/c i just got my lisence.

ca anyone who actually kows what there talking about give me some info please.

3000 points too the dude who gives the best answer. The best answer of what too do or what will happen if i am reported.

i know its possible i wasnt but assuming i am give me your thoughts please?

Best advice: Hire OJ's Legal Team...it will cost you but at least you'll still be able to drive.

Unless he has you on video showing you driving recklessly, your image as the driver, and your plate number then I'd forget about it. It's your word against his unless he has some hard and damning evidence against you.

Someone cant just take a tag number, call the cops and say "hey, this guy was driving like an ass and you should take his driving liceanse away."

If that was possible, then half the people in the country would be walking.

Id forget about it.

I wouldnt worry about it to much. Unless a cop sees you driving recklessly or you cause an accident , there isnt much that can be done to you. My advice , if your that worried , is to report him for driving on the wrong side of the road through a school zone before he reports you. Alot of idiots think that tailing someone is gonna solve something but after a bit they calm down and just let it go. However if you get reported by many people for driving like a maniac in a school zone , you may get some flack for it.

A reckless in Florida is a 3 month suspension I believe. If you didn't get caught in the act, you're fine.

Golden rule for everything that goes on your record.

If you're not fingerprinted? Meaning, you've been arrested and booked?

It won't be on your record.

To be honest, I think he was probably tailing you to beat your *** for honking at him. If he took your plate numbers it's probably just because he got tired of following you and will use them later at the DMV to get your address and beat you up at his convenience. Don't sleep.

You can basically get someones life history with their damn initials if you really want to.

But to be real, yeah I am pretty sure you can get someones address if you have their plate code. Well, actually it would be whoever the car is registered under I think.

i had something like this happen to me. i was driving on Route 2 in MA and the car behind me was just about touching my bumper. the speed limit is 55 and i was doing 55 but i guess it was'nt fast enough. after about 12 miles of this i said to hell with him and stepped on the gas. My car is fairly fast(2004 Subaru WRX STI) and i was far ahead of him and slowed down. i must've pissed him off because he started to tail me much in the way he tailed you. i drove through some parking lots and sideroads and he was still following me. Turns out the car was an off duty cop and he called the town police on me and i was pulled over by an officer claiming she was acting on the word of a fellow officer. i got a ticket for speeding and even after disputing the ticket had to pay the fine. it was all BS. anyhow, the worst that you could've gotten was a ticket for driving faster then safe and reasonable. since the guy chasing you probably was'nt a cop it'd get thrown out and you'd be free of anything on your record.
