I agree with the people who say it should be closed but left viewable.
I also think it would be cool to have an Elite XC forum which could be an umbrella forum for all the promotions under Elite XC, like KOTC, Icon, CR etc etc

As for the dare I say it replacement forum, I think it'd be good to have an Elitexc/Bodog forum as they seem to be the top two big dogs other than the UFC right now.

I think that there aren't any organizations big enough to fill those shoes yet. Archive it and leave the others where they are. When one starts to make some waves then maybe a new forum for it, but until then there should be the UFC forum and all the others piled in together.

I like the EliteXC idea. I am enjoying their shows more and more and the threads seem to get not noticed as much in the other MMA shows section.

thr organization isno longer active.
lingering on old memories instead of active mma discusion is not a productive way to run the forum.

How is it unproductive? It just sits there man, there isn't another organization that deserves its own section any more than the now defunct Pride. The frequency of televised fights from EliteXc and Bodog do not warrant their own section imo.

What is so wrong about talking about old fights? It is nice to reminisce and past fights have a lot of bearing on present and future ones. I actually think your idea is a good one.
