I've always felt that the UFC and Pride had comparable talent. What I see happening now is that the UFC guys have an advantage because it's in the US, in the cage, under UFC rules. If Pride had bought UFC, and these fights were in Japan, in a ring, with Pride rules, the UFC fighters would be struggling just as much.
It's meaningless to say that Pride fighters have 2 belts. The UFC is bringing in the best of Pride. Of course they're competing for the belts, that's the whole point. And of course they will win some. If they were to win them all, that would mean something, but of course they won't.
