When you say it then it becomes an excuse. If you dont bring it up then it is not an excuse.....
I would just like for fighters to say the guy was better than me on that night and he beat me. I dont care if he was sick or injured and if they mention it whether asked or not it is a built in excuse.
Watching UFC 77 countdown last while hyping up Tim Sylvia all they talked about was how he was injured when he fought Randy. Like it or not, they discredit the guys who win when they do that. I believe Randy would have beaton regardless that nite, but that is just me.....
