Bad Feeling before this event
This is the first time i can remember having a bad feeling before an event. Its not like i am nervous or something like that, or afraid my favorite fighters will lose. Those are reasons i watch the sport... I have a bad feeling for the first time and it feels like Saturday night is just going to be a night to remember because of something bad. Like someone is going to get hurt or maybe another fighter quits or even another babalu type incident. Being as this is the first time i have ever had a bad feeling about an MMA event its starting to weird me out. Anyone else ever get a bad feeling before an event? If so what ones? Was it a just reason or not?

I have no weird feelings watsoever for this event but im interested to see the aftermath since Randy's departure.
Its still quite surreal to me and when i see him not there at the main event commentating..then the reality kicks in.
Other than that..im excited!

I always get the nervous feeling whenever my faves are fighting.
Having said that, I'm very nervous for this event.

It's weird how you get feelings like that sometimes I know what your talking about. I have never had one about a fight but when I used to do a lot of street racing it did sometimes. One time in paticular I had a bad feeling and one of the guys racing ended up wrecking his car and doing internal damages to his orgins.

hell yeah, never had a bad feeling about a ppv, but when i used to street race i would all the time. it seemed like everytime i did have a bad feeling something would happen. from feeling like a spot would get busted to telling a friend not to race. that friend woke up in a hospital handcuffed to the bed. one of the main reasons i stopped street racing, well kinda stopped racing.
when i saw rich franklin walking out last time he fought silva i got a bad feeling. his wife was crying and he looked like there were some personal family issues. like someone died or something. i felt like something was gonna happen.

Yes I know Vin Diesel is an actor, thanks for that. Half of the cars I have seen in real street races have been a pile of crap. The other half were really good though.
I raced a guy in my Toyota Supra against a Nissan Micra, am I a legit street racer then?
Just giving you a bit of friendly ribbing, not looking for an argument as I only have my keyboard.

i'm not trying to argue, just a little "friendly ribbing" ball busting.
my car is a pile of crap if you look at it, but i'm all go no show. i don't care what my race car looks like, only how fast it is.
and like i said i don't go to the "illegals" anymore. i will race someone if they want, but for the most part i only race at the track.
90 crx 13.5 et @102 mph
soon to be low 12's
sorry for the thread jack George

I especially have a nervous felling this time just because Franklin is fighting.. And he is fighting a tough fighter.. Franklin is my favorite fighter so I think the feelings are normal.. Otherwise I really hope there is nothing OVERLY bad going to happen to anyone..

I am afraid for Rich Franklin. There has been this strange glazed over look he gets in his eyes his last couple of fights as though he's having a minor seizure or stroke.
He got it in the last fight with Silva and another fight after that one where it almost seems again like he's unconscious, but with his eyes open, and then he snaps out of it.
I really hope that Rich doesent have some undiagnosed medical condition that doesen't show up on standard pre-fight medicals
Anyway, i hope he's alright.

I think Franklin looks much better this time and he will put up a much better fight. I mean how could it possibly be worse than last time? That's about as low as you can go.
