Alot of close games this week, so this could be rough.
Giants vs. Dolphins
Yes, it sucks that they have to play in London. But don't feel too bad Giant and Fin fans, every NFL team has to play overseas eventually. Jet lag and whatnot could be a factor for both teams, but the Dolphins are horrible especially now that Ronnie Brown, who was looking really good, is out for the season with a knee injury. Giants are on a roll.
Giants 24 Dolphins 10
Steelers vs Bengals
A win over the Jets doesn't make the Bengals a good team. Unfortunately for them, the Steelers are. Look for the Steelers to torch the Bengals poor defense.
Steelers 34 Bengals 17
Texans vs. Chargers
The Texans are the team I am most familiar with. Johnson still is doubtful with the Texans, but the Texans receivers have been picking up the slack. The Chargers have had to practice in Arizona cause of the fires. The fires have also affected many of the Chargers players. The Chargers have been one big disappointment this year. Look for the disappoinment to continue and the fire have an effect on the Chargers.
Texans 29 Chargers 24
Colts vs Panthers
The Colts are undefeated and the Panthers are possibly platooning Vinny and Carr. I know Vinny led the Panthers to a victory last week, but the honeymoon is over. I forsee a huge Colts win to set up the epic battle of undefeateds next week.
Colts 37 Panthers 20
Patriots vs. Redskins
I like Washington's chances, but the Pats have proven me wrong everytime I pick against them. Patriots should be looking to make a statement going into the Colts game next week.
(On a side note, aren't the Redskins one of the most offensive names in sports. The Washington Bullets changed their name cause they thought that Bullets was offensive. I have no problem with Seminoles, Braves, or Indians (Indians is probably as far as you can take it though, but they need to get rid of their horrible mascot), but Redskins just sounds bad. Time for them to get in the 21st century. It's like calling themselves the Blackies or Beaners. It just needs to go away.)
Patriots 41 Redskins 23
49er's vs. Saints
I've been dogging the Saints, but they have had a pretty rough schedule. The 49er's have the same record, but it hasn't been nearly as bad of a schedule for them. I look for the Saints to get back in the playoff hunt with a 3rd consecutive win. I'm still not sold on Bush as an every down back, but Brees seems to be improving every week.
Saints 23 49ers 10
Bucanneers vs. Jaguars
The Bucs are probably the biggest surprise in the NFL this year. Say what you want about Garcia, but he seems to know how to win. Jones-Drew is questionable and Garrad is out. Bucs should roll a banged up Jags team.
Bucs 27 Jags 13
Titans vs. Raiders
V. Young returns and Tank Johnson becomes elligible to play. Titans had a fourth quarter meltdown last week, but Bironas was insane. The Raiders are the Raiders and I don't see them winning.
Titans 21 Raiders 7
Browns vs. Rams
Until the Rams can prove to me they aren't one of the worst teams in football, I will refuse to pick them. Maybe if they play Miami.
Browns 26 Rams 12
Bears vs. Lions
Kitna leads a pretty potent offense against a Bears team that can't seem to get back to last years form. The Bears offense is still atrocious. Looks like bad news for the Bears.
Lions 24 Bears 9
Eagles vs. Vikings
While Peterson looks to be the front runner for rookie of the year, he still is the #2 back behind Taylor. Jackson isn't Culpepper by any stretch of the imagination. The Eagles however seem to be in a downward spiral. Can they bounce back from a crushing defeat from a fourth quarter meltdown? This was probably the hardest game to pick.
Vikings 17 Eagles 16
Packers vs Broncos
The Broncos had a nice win over the Steelers last week, but the Packers (the other most surprising team in the NFL) are looking good off of a bye. Farve should have his way against the Broncos defense which is one of the bottom dwellers in points allowed.
Packers 33 Broncos 19
