Matt Hughes on Randy
Sorry if this is a repost... i searched and found nothing.
From Matt Hughes's web site:
"Well I’ve been tapering off of farm work and training more and more now that the fight’s getting closer, but I know you all have been waiting to hear my thoughts on Randy leaving the UFC, so here we go.
I don’t know exactly what is going through Randy’s head, I haven’t talked to him, nor have I talked to Dana White about this situation. However, I somewhat agree with Randy. A couple of years ago, the UFC was a much smaller organization and I knew everybody that worked for them. When I wanted something, I knew who to call and who would get it done. I miss that.
Nowadays, it seems like new employees of the UFC call me everyday. The problem was they got so big so fast they had to get more workers. So now it’s just a much bigger organization and things are a lot different. Dana doesn’t know all that goes on over there. It seems like he’s off doing his own thing. So I’m sure that a lot of what Randy is mad about, Dana has nothing to do with. A lot of times the UFC will call me up and ask me to do things. If my schedule’s busy or I don’t want to do it, I just say no. If Dana White calls me up and asks me to do something I always do it. And if I need something done at the UFC, I know I can always call Dana.
I don’t know if Randy is done fighting, I don’t know if he’s wanting to go out and fight for another organization. At first, I heard money was the reason Randy quit and then I heard it wasn’t, so there is a lot of things that I just don’t know; but Dana is holding a press conference tomorrow, so maybe we’ll find out more about it then.
I’ve also heard that Randy did this because he wants to fight Fedor Emelianenko. Right now Randy’s stock in this sport is pretty high, so if he is wanting to go out with a bang then what’s left for him? Nothing, but maybe Fedor."

Matt is so arrogant. Just like him to only answer the call from the top guy. He won't make time for Sally Sue who is just doing her job. Also, you would think he would get more information before talking about something that he obviously knows nothing about. What a know it all. Go back to training before you get the beat down from Serra. Arrogant SOB.

Wow, dumbest post of the year right there. You're so stuck on hating someone you know nothing about that you're making up things. Get a clue.

Wow, of all the thousands of posts that have been made on FF you really think mine is the "dumbest".
Like Opsy said, I was just playin. If anything Opsy is the President of the Hughes fan club and I am the VP (oh oh, I can see the sig's popping up already).
To me this is a typical response (my post) to something that Hughes says or does - a total overreaction. Honestly, I'm happy that someone saw how foolish it was. We need more people like you.
In summary...yay Matt Hughes!

Uh, no. I actually didn't care what your thoughts were on the subject, Matt. I know this has already been overstated, but get over yourself.

Here's a thought. This quote came from his own website which is probably filled with many of his fans who likely were interested in what he did have to say on the subject.

Take off the player-hater hat. It looks goofy on you.
That article came from Hughes' website.
If you hate Hughes so much, you CAN just ignore the Hughes threads.

Team Serra all the way, baby. Thanks for the advice, but I'd rather visit the Hughes threads and talk smack.

Matt does bring up a good point. That the UFC most likely has lost alot of the small town feel that guys like Matt miss. I can understand that. Even at my job which is mundane i oftentimes have no clue who is calling me or who i need to deal with to get something done. With fast growth comes alot of scrambling to fill the newly created positions and in the majority of cases the new positions don't accurately communicate with each other or are underqualified. the UFC is a business and sometimes business as usual just plain sucks.
