Once a gun is popular though, as the glock has gotten, it is hard for newer and better guns to get introduced into the mix because everytime you get a gun you think it is the best, until you try the next one. It can become a very expensive hobby collecting guns.

They are a bit more expensive than glocks.

The only reason glock is so popular is because when they were first introduced, the were the best of the best. They were standard issue from feds down to city cops. When gov't dominates the market, that gives the average joe the impression that the weapon is the best. I am not knocking the glock, it was a nice weapon for the times. But now it is just simply old school.

Guns have evolved and XD is taking over. I was the first in my dept. to get the XD, now I lost count of how many have turned in the department issue glock or now it is used as their back up.

It is worth a few extra dollars. It also comes ready to accesorise with the 3/8th guide rail for light, lasers etc.
