Does a 40 have more KO power? Heck yes it does. Will a 9mm not knock a man down? Come on...its gonna put him on his butt and we all know it.

PS. Bisping is gettin KTFO tonight.

I can tell you from up close and personal experience that no, a 9mm will not "put you on your butt". Unless it hits bone or something else to really absorb the force, it will just punch clean through your body. Ive seen people hit three or four times with a 9mm and still standing trying to fight back. The best place to hit with a 9mm is the head, plain and simple.

With a .40, it is a larger round and is moving at a lower velocity therefore transferring more kinetic energy into the target thus delivering more knock down power. If you hit a person center mass with a .40 cal, they will go down much faster and easier than if it was a 9mm.

In fact, several law enforcement agencies have switched either to a .40 or a 10mm gun for that very reason.
