I prefer the .40
I bought myself a cheap S&W .40 Sigma. Yeah it's a cheap and simple gun, but I can shoot 2 inch groups at 15 yards. It may be a p.o.s for some, but it's a good gun for me. Also fits my hand perfectly. Not bad for a sub $300 semi-auto pistol.

My advice would be to get down to the range and shoot the guns you are thinking about getting. The only way to find the gun for you, is to fire them.
